Texas National BMW Rally
April 9-11, 2010
The San Antonio BMW Riders will be hosting the Texas National Rally. The rally is a no frills event held this year in Llano,TX at Robinson City Park along the south side of the Llano River, just 2 miles west of downtown on RR 152. Llano is located by GPS Coordinates N 30 44.942 W 098 42.333 elevation 1040′.
There is a covered pavilion where we will have coffee, tea, water and ice chests available for BYOB refreshments.
Friday evening we will be serving chili and beans. Free, while it lasts!!!
Saturday evening at the pavilion, Hank Arriazola will give a slide presentation on his trip to South America. Click here for a sample. We will have area maps and suggested rides available.
Accommodations
Camping is $1 per person per night. There are restrooms and showers on site but they are “adequate” at best. If you’re not into camping, RV spots are available at the park for $22 per night. Contact Terry Mikulenka for reservations. If you’re not into roughing it, the Days Inn in Llano (609 Bessemer Ave.) has special rally rate, suites for $84.04 / per night. Just mention the BMW rally.
